Girlie Day in Sendai!!

So, I have two giddy girlies staying with me for a few weeks. They are actually visiting Nadine from Thunder Bay, Canada. A town so small that one could ask, "Oh yeah, whose that one guy with the porche again? He's pretty wierd eh?" They are so sweet and it's good to have the company. It's fun to watch them and remember what it was like to be 19. Dare I say I was never quite as girlie as these girly girls. In high school, I was the one in the t-shirt and flanal shirt, baggy jeans, hangin' with all the Neal Pert worshipping drummers. I wasn't a tomboy, but I never put on mascara unless it was a special occasion. Lipstick was a bit of a pink mystery. Chapstick seemed to do the trick. Anyhoo, lots has changed since then. This time in Sendai I have perfume to add to my ever evolving process, I bought a straightener on eBay (sorry mom) and I've been quite crafty lately. The paints are always out, but now I've got my fingers around some clay, a crochet hook and some beads, not to mention a new mountain bike! So many firsts I don't know what to do with myself.
