Taiko!!

I have fallen in love with Taiko Drumming. Here are a few of a local concert I went to. Can't seem to get enough!!

The Dali Museum, Goshikinuma (again) and an Onsen

The owner of one of the most successful sports department stores is also an avid fan of Dali. He started collecting pieces and then....after awhile....started to feel a little guilty. So, he built a museum that is open to the public and it's amaaaaaazing!! I'll go back again and again. Well... and I can't get enough of Goshikinuma, the 5 colored lakes. Afterwards, Bela and I had a nice relaxing onsen ~ a dip in natural hotspring water overlooking a lake. It was beautiful and we were the only ones, so OUT with the camera!! :)

2008 Bus Tour in Nasu

Here are a few shots from our bus tour to Nasu. It was rainy, so the hike was cancelled, but we got to visit some cool spots and make some pottery. I can't remeber the name of the mountain, but it was full of sulfuric gas, rocks and statues....smelly but lovely.

Ah Mastushima Ah Matsushima Ah Matsushima

A few of us went up to Sendai and Matsushima to have a day in the sun. I tried oysters for the first time!! I've never felt sooooo close to the ocean in my life ~ they were amazing!! True...I was sick as a goat for about a day afterwards, but it was worth it.
